| Trees on the Table pattern |
This little Christmas tree project is just begun. The pattern is a free one from Marcie at Patchalot Patterns. You can find a copy of the free pattern "Trees on the Table" here. Marcie's original pattern calls for trees made from strip sets and is a 24" x 24" table topper. I'm using strips, chunks, and crumbs, I'm making 16 trees, and I'll see where I end up.

NOTE: For those of you who know Marcie, she recently lost her son. I'm behind on blog reading and just read the sad news.

There's just something so wonderful about red and green. The pinwheel in the middle is perfect. What a great set. So sorry about Marcie's loss.
That is a very cute tree pattern--I love the circling effect of the trees!
The pattern in the magazine has my full attention--like I need another magazine, but I think I may have to look for that one.
Love this block - really cool!
I remember back when Marcie offered that free pattern and loved seeing how so many people made them...they were gorgeous and yours too!
Maybe my issue will come today...Marcie had sent me an earlier photo of that quilt. I too was sorry to hear about her loss.
sad news about marcie - her recent pattern is lovely.
love the pine tree with the pinwheel!
I saw the strippy quilt in the magazine and was so excited for her. The tree table topper is fun!!
Super cute trees!
I love the trees! It is pouring rain here and very warm, the grass is still growing. :( I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....
I like Marcie's design and your twist! Nothing says Christmas like a handmade decoration. Marcie's loss made me gasp--soo, soo sad.
The trees make a delightful holiday design.
Thanks for posting this Vivian. I love what you are doing with your trees! Also, I am delighted to have my quilt in AP&Q magazine. I need to find it while I am here is AZ.
Hi, Vivian. Cool tree block with a lovely choice of reds and greens. Happy holidays!
